"Happy New Year"

I find New Year an exciting time and on the first day in January I start looking for Spring.  Soon there will be signs of Snowdrops and Daffodils ... a wonderful time of year. I know there is still a lot of winter to get through but positive thoughts and the days getting longer, make winter more bearable. If we have some sunny days thrown in, then I won't ask for more. I'm making no plans, I'm just aiming to take each new day and make the best of it. I picked up my brushes and did a little doodle, not a snowdrop or daffodil but I do love Daisies!

  3. Dear Ingrid - lovely daisy. Also enjoyed seeing your thirty paintings in 30 day challenge. You have some wonderful art. Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a great New Year. I too am looking forward to spring...winter may have just arrived 12/21 but it came earlier weather wise for us and we are now in the deep cold of the year. So your daisy makes me wistful for summer. Take care.

  5. Hello Ingrid, I'm looking at new buds on a rose bush and having the same thoughts as you. It's certainly unusually mild at the moment, but there's time for a cold spell yet. Lets hope that Spring comes early this year though.

    All the best for 2014

I'm afraid I have had to introduce word verification as I had 96 spammer posts when I returned from holiday. I hope after a short while I can try again with no word verification, I do hope you understand ... thank you Ingrid.
